The Choir’s first Hyperion Records release under Steven Grahl presents transcriptions for choir and organ of Gerald Finzi’s Requiem da camera, For St Cecilia and In terra pax, ceremonial works originally scored for choir and orchestral forces. Recorded in Temple Church in London, the album also features alumni soloists Gwilym Bowen and Florian Störtz alongside soprano Hilary Cronin.
