Sweelinck’s setting of the entire Genevan Psalter in four volumes, published between 1604 and 1621, is one of the final monuments of Renaissance polyphony. This album presents 15 psalms from the third book, published in 1614.
Originally released on Conifer Classics, this album was re-released by Sony Classics in 2016 part of a six-disc compilation, > Early Choral Music at Trinity.
