The Trinity College Choir Fund

Through its concerts, tours and recordings Trinity College Choir has won international renown.  The Trinity College Choir Fund has been established to help support these activities, which are over and above the Choir’s primary function of singing the regular services in the College Chapel.

In recent years the Choir Fund has supported concerts around the UK, working with orchestras such as the Academy of Ancient Music, Britten Sinfonia, City of London Sinfonia, and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.  The Fund has made possible recordings of music by a wide range of composers, including Handel and Bach, Howells and Britten, and contemporary European and American composers.  These have received wide critical acclaim, and the Choir recently won a Gramophone Award in the UK and a nomination for a Grammy in the USA.  The Fund has also supported tours to Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia.

By donating to the Trinity College Choir Fund you are joining us in helping to take the Choir’s music to a worldwide audience, both live and in recordings.  You are also giving the students who make up the Choir an unforgettable experience which is of enormous benefit to them in their lives, be that in professional music or in any vocation they choose after graduating.
