Promoted by Musica Viva Australia, this extensive tour included performances at some of Australia’s newest performing arts centres, including the Glasshouse at Port Macquarie and Melbourne Recital Hall, both opened the previous year. The itinerary was also noteworthy for a performance at Government House in Canberra in the presence of the Governor-General, Dame Quentin Brice.
