Ioseph, fili David,
Joseph, thou Son of David, a just man,
Ioseph virum Mariae, de qua natus est Iesus,
Joseph, husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus.
Blessed is the man, that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments,
his seed shall be mighty upon the earth:
the generation of the upright shall be blessed,
generatio rectorum benedicetur.
Beati mites, mites possidebunt terram,
Blessed are the meek, the meek shall inherit the earth,
and shall delight themselves
in the abundance of peace,
et delectabuntur in multitudine pacis.
Of the piety and charity of Joseph,
a son was born to him,
of a Virgin Mary, and this was the Son of God.
Jesus, thou Son of God,
Iesus, Fili Dei.
Blessed is the man the feareth the Lord,
blessed is everyone that feareth the Lord,
qui timet Dominum,
that walketh in his ways.
